Khotin

Khotin is the project of Dylan Khotin-Foote, a Canadian electronic musician from Edmonton, born in 1993, who was long based in Vancouver. After early work as Happy Trendy, he released Hello World on 1080p in 2014, an album of soft-hued acid and house. New Tab moved away from drums towards texture, and Beautiful You, later given a wide release by Ghostly International, set melody-rich ambient against field sounds. Finds You Well followed, and Release Spirit was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize in 2023. He is a part owner of the Edmonton label Normals Welcome, and his free-flowing, multi-genre range carries into his mixes. He recorded a Dekmantel Podcast.
