Kiernan Laveaux

Kiernan Laveaux is a boundless ball of chaos energy, an adventurous spirit whose DJing channels the binary-dissolving forces of the world into something unbridled and passionate. The Cleveland artist's mission is to bring love and understanding to open-minded dancers everywhere. Since 2014 her ethos of community building, personal autonomy and transportive psychedelia has run through the In Training, Heaven is in You and Disco Paradiso parties that ran in Cleveland from 2014 to 2018, and through the Motherbeat raves that continue to appear sporadically. The music she plays is impossible to pin down by genre but is unified by a restless, ecstatic momentum, dissonant euphoria and kinetic exuberance, from peak-time, head-melting techno to heavenly electronics, all held together by twisted rhythms and quick mixing.
