Kush Jones

Kush Jones is a DJ and producer from the Bronx, New York, and a member of the Juke Bounce Werk crew. His productions pull from Chicago footwork, Jersey club, jungle and UK grime, with a debut EP, Sleep, on TAR in 2016, the Momentum EP through Juke Bounce Werk in 2017 and a place on Trax Couture's compilation The Whole World Series the same year. A prolific self-releaser, he keeps a steady flow of independent projects through his own Bandcamp. He met DJ Swisha through SoundCloud and the pair made the joint EP (Respectfully), built on footwork's cross-stitched rhythms. Since a first NTS appearance in 2016 his tracks have become station regulars, and his sets move between footwork, house and techno with wit and momentum.
