L.B. Dub Corp
L.B. Dub Corp is the alias Luke Slater started in 2006 for a looser take on club music than the machine funk of Planetary Assault Systems or the ambient techno of The 7th Plain. Housier here, dubbier there, it stays tied to the arc of a producer who has spent three decades in electronic music. After a five-year pause he revived the project with Saturn To Home, his first record for Dekmantel: a vocal-led ode to the club with Robert Owens, Paul St. Hilaire, Miss Kittin and Baal & Mortimer, and the first time his own live drumming appears on record, shaped by his father's big band and jazz funk collection. Burial later reworked the album track Only The Good Times.
