Lakuti

Lakuti is a DJ, promoter and label founder, and one half of one of house music's most revered back-to-back pairings with Tama Sumo, a duo long associated with Panorama Bar in Berlin. She founded Uzuri Recordings, together with the Uzuri artist booking and management agency, and co-founded the Bring Down The Walls initiative with Tama Sumo. Her sets are rooted in house but open to anything with soul, moving through broken beat, deep US records and Afro rhythms, a range heard on her Resident Advisor exchange in 2013 and on the Live From Berlin broadcasts she and Tama Sumo hosted for NTS. The pair recorded a Dekmantel Mix after long years as Dekmantel regulars, including Selectors in 2023.
