Lauren Hansom

Lauren Hansom is a selector from Sydney based in Europe, with records scattered across the continent. She co-hosted Spin The Bottle with Johnny Lieu on Sydney's FBi Radio, has played Amsterdam's Red Light Radio and appeared on Amila's Altered Soul Experiment on NTS. With Mehdi El-Aquil she co-runs Condesa, a workshop building homemade rotary mixers, which she has toured through record shops across Europe. Her collecting spans vinyl, CDs, tapes and Bandcamp files, fed by record fairs and flea markets in Europe and Japan. A background in dance and film shapes a taste for boogie, disco, new wave and experimental music that tells a story or takes her by surprise, heard at Cosmic Roots and in a back-to-back with Jamie Tiller at Kala.
