Loidis

Loidis is the dance-floor identity of Brian Leeds, the Kansas-born, Philadelphia-based producer better known as Huerco S. Where Huerco S. and his Pendant alias drifted into ambient after the grainy outsider house of Colonial Patterns, Loidis keeps a pulse, working the understated corners of dub techno, minimal, microhouse and deep house. The project began with the EP A Parade, In The Place I Sit, The Floating World (& All Its Pleasures) on Anno, and returned with the album One Day on Incienso, a record of subtle grooves and long atmospheres that Resident Advisor named album of the year. Live, Loidis sits where dance music meets dream states.
