Loma Doom

Loma Doom is Femke Dekker, an Amsterdam DJ and radio veteran. She was one half of the duo Strange Boutique before going solo, and her monthly Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting on Red Light Radio was one of the few shows left from the station's early days, each edition tagged to a zodiac sign and its crystal for a spiritual, cosmic mood. She is a curator at the online radio platform Ja Ja Ja Nee Nee Nee and has played an archive based set for De Appel and moderated panels on archiving at the Amsterdam Online Radio Festival. Her sets weave dark world rhythms, moody psychedelia, freak folk, hardcore punk and slick electronica, electronic experimentalism for mind and movement that reaches back to sounds from before the computer era.
