Long Bram

Long Bram is the DJ name of Bram Steenhuis, who founded the Groningen club OOST with Rob van den Ham. The club opened in April 2016 on the Oosterstraat and grew out of De Gym, an anti-squat building that served as an underground arts platform from 2013 to 2017. OOST built its reputation on a broad programme, a serious sound system and a raised booth that kept the DJ in contact with the floor, and helped launch selectors such as Fafi Abdel Nour, MSJY and Nathan Homan. Beyond the club it spawned Relate Radio, the discussion series Het Discours and the queer nights HomOOST. Long Bram hosts OOST shows on Operator Radio in Rotterdam and played the Radio by OOST programme at Dekmantel Connects in 2020.
