Luigi Tozzi

Raised in Rome, Luigi Tozzi makes techno that draws as much from ambient music as from the club, with an emotional, swirling and dubby atmosphere rooted in the Italian sound. He has kept his output within a close family of labels. The Swedish label Hypnus released a run of his EPs and his debut album, Deep Blue: Volume 2, in 2016, and he has also recorded for Mental Modern and Outis Music, where he has worked with the label's founder, Dino Sabatini. Further records appeared on Minimood, Midgar and Non Series. He has held a residency at KHIDI in Tbilisi, and he and Sabatini played a joint live set at Dekmantel Festival.
