M I M I

M I M I, the DJ name of Maria Green, is a Brussels-based artist and DJ who has lived in Belgium since 1998 and explores her Afro-European heritage across several media. She approaches art and music through her own Afro-futurism and does not stick to one style: cosmic electronic sounds, mesmerising rhythms and percussion meet the sharpest club tracks of the day, with breaks, amapiano, UK garage and reggaeton all finding room. She has mixed for The Word Radio and Kiosk Radio in Brussels and on Oroko Radio presented Green Frequencies, including a show built from Lanna music and field recordings made in Chiang Mai. She guested on the first Dekmantel Radio on Echobox, and played Dekmantel Festival in 2022 and Dekmantel Selectors in 2024.
