Magic Teapot Records

Magic Teapot Records was the cult online record store run by Marco Gegenheimer, who is also one half of the Swedish duo MLiR with Einar Christoffersson. At Dekmantel Selectors in 2019 the Magic Teapot name was represented by MLiR alongside Daniel Baughman. MLiR broke through in 2016 with the Swedish Lo-Life EP on Studio Barnhus and released their debut album Pulpo Fiction, a sixteen-track double LP, on the same label in 2024, building cinematic music from analogue machines, samples, live instruments and field recordings. Gegenheimer also runs Taf Kif Records with Arnau Obiols and Smutty Edits with Tom Bolas and Dea Barandana, and curates the Calamari Rolls Royce party at The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City.
