Makam presents The Archive live

House music as a launching pad for deep experimentation, that's how Guy Blanken approaches his Makam moniker. Rooted in warm, rolling house but stretching into hypnotic, psychedelic and percussive territory, Makam is Blanken's most exploratory outlet. He is one of the strongest DJs the Dutch scene has to offer, and equally loved for his techno-oriented work as Talismann. A longtime Dekmantel resident, he returned to Dekmantel Records with the Tarp EP. With The Archive, Makam presents a special live show that unearths his boundless archive, drawing on the same deep catalogue of records that informs his sets.
