Malibu

Malibu is a French electronic composer from the south west of France whose music sits between ambient and ethereal sound. Soft, reverbed vocals and melodic chord progressions run through everything she makes, building immersive, nostalgic pieces that feel like a sea of synthetic strings and choirs. Her first EP, One Life, came out in November 2019 on Joyful Noise Recordings and UNO NYC, and the EP Palaces of Pity followed on UNO NYC in 2022. Each month she explores the same ideas on her radio show United In Flames on NTS, with the help of guests. She played Dekmantel Festival in 2024 and shared a set with SKY H1 at Dekmantel Ten the same year.
