Marco Passarani

Marco Passarani has shaped Roman techno since the early nineties as producer, DJ, distributor and label head. His first records came out on Alan Oldham's Detroit label Generator in 1993; the next year he founded Nature Records and the distribution company Finalfrontier, linking Rome with Detroit, Rotterdam and Glasgow. From the Pigna studio in Pigneto, shared with Francesco de Bellis and Mario Pierro, he ran the Pigna label and recorded as Analog Fingerprints. Phonok on Skam came with an Autechre remix, and the album Sullen Look followed on Peacefrog in 2005. With Valerio Del Prete he forms the boogie duo Tiger & Woods, with albums on Running Back. Glasgow's Numbers collected his early 2000s work as Analog Fingerprints Vol. 0.
