Mick Wills
Mick Wills began DJing in 1986 at fourteen, playing new wave and hi-NRG at private parties in southern Germany before techno, acid and new beat took over in the late eighties. A night playing with DJ Hell in 1994 led to a slot at Ultraschall in Munich, and with Isabella Venis he ran the MB Presents parties around Stuttgart, booking Anthony Shake Shakir, Legowelt, Electric Indigo and many more. His first tracks, recorded in 2001, landed on Hell's International DeeJay Gigolo label with the Atomic EP, which included a Bobby Orlando remake by The Kinky Lovers, his duo with Venis. An obsessive collector, he mixes Chicago, Detroit, Italo, hi-NRG, wave, acid and electro, and he played Dekmantel Selectors in 2019.
