Mika Oki

Mika Oki is a Paris-born, French-Japanese visual artist, DJ and producer with a background in sculpture and electro-acoustic music. She explores intangible spaces and emotional landscapes through audio-visual installations, performance and mixes, and exhibited her work Reverse Osmosis at Berlin Atonal in 2018. In Brussels she became station manager at The Word Radio and opened the city's branch of LYL Radio. Her DJ sets carry a deep love of sounds from across the Channel, from drum and bass and UK garage to 2-step and grime, and can run a nineties dance anthem into an obscure juke track while blurring techno, dub and ambient. Her debut production appeared on a Metaphore Industrie compilation. She recorded the Dekmantel Podcast 304 and played Dekmantel Festival in 2023.
