Millos Kaiser

Millos Kaiser fronted punk and indie bands in his hometown of Niterói, near Rio de Janeiro, before he began DJing in 2008. After a move to São Paulo he formed the duo Selvagem with Trepanado, and their parties drew thousands to city squares, warehouses and Carnaval blocos; the pair also started the Selva Discos label to reissue tracks that had become staples of their sets. His Onda De Amor compilation for Soundway documented Brazil's overlooked late eighties electronic scene. As a solo DJ he moves from Brazilian street soul to Bahian oddities and eighties synth workouts, often with his own edits, and he co-owns the São Paulo listening bar Caracol. He recorded a Dekmantel podcast and played Dekmantel Selectors in 2023.
