Nedda Sou

Nedda Sou is an Amsterdam-based DJ and interdisciplinary maker who grew up in a Moroccan household in The Hague, where Moroccan hip-hop tapes led her to Club Asta and Paard van Troje. She trained as a dancer and performed for Nike, Foot Locker, the TMF Awards and MTV before finding a home in house dance culture. Building a sound collage for her youth theatre piece Ja hé? sparked her interest in mixing, and she began DJing while recovering from a dance injury. She runs Pass The Torch, an event series pairing club and street culture guests with a film, co-founded the creative collective The Update and has released Dunya and Reach. Her ideal is a no-phones dancefloor, and she played Dekmantel Festival in 2022.
