Neon Chambers

Techno collaborations do not come much more exciting than Neon Chambers. Made up of UK artist Sigha and the experimental Frenchman Kangding Ray, the pair have each helped define the modern sound of the genre with their solo careers. When they come together for their live show, they fuse avant-garde sounds with machine-driven grooves and work up music that makes an impact on the floor as well as on the cerebral cortex. Their sets are stylish explorations of tempo and texture, all up-close, intricate synthesis one moment and laid-back dub swagger the next, never rooted in one sound world, touching on cosmic vibes as well as raw industrialism, and as arresting as you would expect from two such proficient artists.
