Nick Klein

For American artist Nick Klein, music is a gateway deep into our collective and individual psyches. He explores loudness as a form, along with the sociology and ideology of self-identifying music subcultures, through his own Psychic Liberation label and releases on the likes of L.I.E.S. and Viewlaxx. A prolific producer with around fifteen albums to his name, including a double album for IDEAL, he works at the fringes of electronic sound with a bank of trusted modulated synths. Psychic Liberation, founded in 2013, and its collaborative ENXPL series with the Enmossed label have released artists including Berlin's Wilted Woman, Bridget Ferrill, Rene Nunez's Horoscope project, the Seoul-based crew of Yeong Die, Jiyoung Wi and Joyul, the Iranian brother band Saint Abdullah and Enmossed founder Glyn Maier.
