Nick The Record
Nick The Record grew up on London's hip hop jams and the rare groove scene, was there for the summer of love in 1988, and in the early nineties played the warehouse and free party circuit, guesting at DJ Harvey's Moist and holding a residency at Quirky. In 1993 he co-founded the Lifeforce parties in Japan, where he spent much of his DJ career and released two mix CDs. He has made records for Nuphonic, Ene and 20/20 Vision, compiled Under The Influence for Z Records and two volumes of Disco Juice, and runs Record Mission with Dan Tyler of the Idjut Boys. With John Gomez he runs the London party Tangent, and his RA mix built only from Arthur Russell music drew wide attention.
