Noda

Taka Noda is a Tokyo producer better known as Mystica Tribe, a project that lives in the psychedelic space between dub and techno. His first track Meditation Stick appeared on the Dutch label SD Records, and he has since released through Silent Season and his own Mystica Tribe Records, drawing on dub, soul, bass music and rhythm and blues. With Danny Wolfers, better known as Legowelt, he formed the duo Noda & Wolfers, whose albums Tascam Space Season and Evil Fades in Echo push custom lo-fi effects, synthesizers and drum machines into a slow, sludgy low-end haze topped by Noda's melodica. The pair played live at the Greenhouse stage at Dekmantel Festival.
