Nosedrip

Nosedrip is Ziggy Devriendt, a DJ, radio host and curator from Ostend, Belgium, and part of the scene around the Music Mania store in Ghent. He pioneered the Belgian online station STROOM.TV, and in 2016 the label Stroom followed as a sub-label of Music Mania, born from the track-hunting for his shows on NTS and Red Light Radio. Stroom reissues overlooked Belgian music alongside international curios, from the Latvian synth duo NSRD and Japanese singer Sonoko to Scottish new wave group Vazz and Icelandic techno. His monthly NTS show runs through new age, new wave, French psychedelia, minimal synth and post-punk, while his club sets turn floors into collective dreamscapes with bizarre rhythms and hypnotic pulses. He has played Dekmantel Selectors, Horst, Meakusma and Dour.
