Nymfo
Bardo Camp has been part of Amsterdam drum and bass since the early 2000s, and started even earlier, playing gabber at fourteen under the name Nymphomaniac. As Nymfo he broke through in 2007 with records on Shogun Ltd, Renegade Hardware and a Critical twelve with Icicle, and Franky Mountain, another Icicle collaboration, landed on RAM. His catalogue since runs through Metalheadz, Hospital, Dispatch, Commercial Suicide, Samurai and CIA, with the album Pictures On Silence. The sound sits between tough, techno-tinged dancefloor drums and soulful liquid melody. For over a decade he co-ran the Red Zone nights in Amsterdam with Martyn, and he has a collaborative record with Zohar on Dekmantel.
