Oberman

Oberman is the Rotterdam DJ Sjoerd Oberman, who founded the independent label Nous'klaer Audio in the city in 2013. The label has since grown into a home for Dutch electronic music, with a roster that takes in Oceanic, Mattheis, upsammy, Dorisburg, Polygonia, Mathilde Nobel, Meetsysteem, Konduku, Kia and Nadia Struiwigh, alongside the Paerels compilation series. Its projects reach beyond the club, from Oceanic's work with Ensemble Klang to Mattheis and Nick Verstand's Aether performance at Grasnapolsky, and the label also runs its own Nous'klaer Festival in Rotterdam and hosted a stage at Draaimolen. As a DJ, Oberman played a back-to-back set with Oceanic at Dekmantel Selectors in 2021.
