Object Blue

Born in Tokyo, raised in Beijing and based in London, object blue makes experimental club music that ties techno to detailed, visceral sound design. Her first gig was a live set, and her 2018 debut EP on TT, Do you plan to end a siege?, grew out of a live set at Corsica Studios; its single Act like it then was named track of the year by Resident Advisor, Mixmag and FACT. She followed it with REX on Let's Go Swimming, FIGURE BESIDE ME in 2019, the club EP Hyperaesthesia with TSVI on Nervous Horizon and the audio-visual EP Grotto on TT. She has remixed Murlo and Jasper James, was a SHAPE platform artist in 2020 and has played Dekmantel Festival, Dimensions and Primavera Sound.
