Octo Octa

Maya Bouldry-Morrison has released music as Octo Octa since 2011, when her first EP, Let Me See You, came out on 100% Silk. She began in IDM and breakcore while studying at the University of New Hampshire, and turned to house at the end of her college years, citing Warp, drum and bass and DJ Sprinkles as influences. Her first three albums appeared on 100% Silk, with further records on Running Back, Argot, Skylax and Deepblak. In 2019 she founded the T4T LUV NRG label with her partner Eris Drew, which released her album Resonant Body. The two play together as a back-to-back pair, mixed an instalment of the fabric series together and later formed the duo Alchemical Sisters.
