Olof Dreijer
Olof Dreijer grew up in Gothenburg, where he played saxophone with his father, and in 1999 formed The Knife with his sibling Karin, a duo that released four albums before disbanding in 2014. As Oni Ayhun he released four EPs in 2009 and 2010 that played with gender norms in dance music, and as DJ Coolof he played only at events with gender-balanced line-ups. Working from a studio in Berlin, he has produced for Planningtorock and Zhala and plays flute and percussion in Hiya wal Âalam. Under his own name came Rosa Rugosa in 2023, the Dekmantel releases Brujas, with Diva Cruz, and Iris, and the album Loud Bloom in 2026. His DJ sets mix West African pop, kuduro, acid and melodic techno and house.
