Otik

Raised in Bristol and based in London, Otik is a producer and DJ who has become one of the more distinctive voices between bass music and techno. His records pair big kicks and curious lead lines with inventive drum programming, physical and emotive at once, and they have appeared on Keysound, Dext Recordings, Midland's Intergraded, Shall Not Fade, Steel City Dance Discs, Aus Music and Future Classic. He also runs his own label, Solar Body. His DJ sets carry the same balance of the unknown and the accessible. His Dekmantel Podcast is a meticulous piece of craft that splices jungle, booming bass and skeletal UK techno, swinging from wild, flailing passages into hypnotic grooves and back again.
