Otis

Otis is a Brussels DJ and the founder of Slagwerk, a label and party series started in 2017 and known for nights at Botanique. Slagwerk has become a steady source of experimental electronic music, with releases from ssaliva, 0comeups and Bby Eco, and its parties have hosted James Ferraro, Amnesia Scanner, Crystallmess, Oli XL, Varg2TM, Sky H1 and Vegyn. His own sets disregard convention: like a playlist on shuffle, they connect songs through humour, instinct and sudden disruption, moving from avant-pop to vocal weirdness to thumping beats. He has taken that approach to NTS, Salon des Amateurs, Garage Noord and clubs across Europe, North America and Asia, and played the UFO II stage at Dekmantel Ten in 2024.
