Palmbomen II

Palmbomen II is the house-oriented alter ego of Kai Hugo, a Dutch producer now living in Los Angeles. He first surfaced as Palmbomen, co-founding NON Records with Bear Damen and releasing through NON and Kitsuné, before starting the II project in 2015 for warped, alternative house made largely on hardware. His two albums under the name won wide acclaim for that woozy signature. With Betonkust he wrote and recorded the Center Parcs LP for Dekmantel, followed by the Parallel B companion, a track on the label's ten-year anniversary series and a contribution to the DKMNTL x PATTA 10 release, and he has toured the project across Europe and North America.
