Palms Trax

Palms Trax is Jay Donaldson, a son of the English Riviera who discovered Chicago house and Detroit techno while working at a London record store, then moved to Berlin, where early attempts to emulate his heroes produced a dancefloor hit. His first record came out on Lobster Theremin in 2013, and Dekmantel followed with the EPs In Gold in 2015, High Point On Low Ground in 2016 and To Paradise, rich with euphoric piano lines, bubbling acid and tough percussion. His radio show Cooking With Palms Trax began on Berlin Community Radio in 2015 and later moved to NTS. Since his first Dekmantel Festival set in 2015 he has become a fixture of the main stage, with back-to-backs alongside Hunee, Antal, Young Marco and Midland.
