Pandora's Jukebox

Pandora's Jukebox is the DJ name of Yasmina Dexter, an art director by day and, by night, a resident at Cicciolina in Paris and host of a monthly NTS show broadcast from London. Under the banner Renegade Soundwaves that show moves through techno, ambient techno, industrial, experimental and bass music, assembled as hypnotic noir dreamscapes. Her club sets take the same approach: an abstract, slowed-down reading of techno that joins dots between scenes and sounds, trippy and detailed in equal measure. She has played Berghain and Panorama Bar, and her Dekmantel Podcast unfolds like a half-remembered dream, fragments of melody and stray vocals giving way to swung rhythms, shards of percussion and ambient pads.
