Paquita Gordon

Paquita Gordon, born Francesca in Milan with roots in Puglia and Sicily, started as a DJ, promoter and art director in 2008. She spent around a decade between England, Sicily and Italy before settling back in Milan, and her sets carry that mix of warmth and freshness. She is a resident at Terraforma, the experimental festival at Villa Arconati, where she has played every edition, and she held a monthly residency at Plastic. In 2014 she founded il Vulcano, an artistic research project bringing musicians to remote Sicilian locations, documented with photographer Margherita Chiarva. A vinyl-only DJ, she moves between dub, house, techno, reggae and dreamy trance, and her RA podcast came out in 2018. She has played Berghain, De School and DC10.
