Paramida

Paramida is a German DJ, producer and label owner of Persian background, based in Berlin since 2010. She started DJing while working at OYE Records, and her digging led to residencies at Robert Johnson in Offenbach and, from 2020, at Panorama Bar. Her sets blend proto-house and trance, percussive gems and high-energy techno, Italian dream house and new beat, often through long afternoon excursions or closing sets that run well past sunrise. In 2014 she founded Love On The Rocks, a label for offbeat club records and unexpected 12-inches from the dustier corners of dance culture, spanning nu-disco, acid, progressive house, breaks and ambient. She also hosts a monthly show on Rinse FM, and in 2023 she was named one of the BBC's 100 Women.
