Parris

Parris grew up in North London on nineties hip hop, RnB and UK garage and found the city's underground through pirate radio and Plastic People. He debuted in 2014 with Wen on Tempa and went on to release colourful, psychedelic takes on bass and techno on Idle Hands, Hemlock, The Trilogy Tapes and Peach Discs. With Call Super he co-runs the label Can You Feel The Sun, home to his debut album Soaked In Indigo Moonlight, a record rooted in the pop music he loves, and the Passionfruit EP. His sound blends sharp techno, woozy Balearic tones and stripped-back house, and his sets glide between tempos. He has played Houghton, Tresor, De School and fabric, Lentekabinet Festival in 2022 and 2023, and Dekmantel Radio.
