Patrick Russell

Detroit-bred DJ and producer Patrick Russell has been active since the early nineties and later made New York his home. He is known as a key figure in the No Way Back parties, and his long-format sets pull acid, jacking energy and hints of IDM into one fluid narrative, reaching into house, techno and noise. He has played Labyrinth in Japan, Berghain, Unsound and Movement in Detroit. His productions include the Valt Trax EP with Seth Troxler on Circus Company and remixes for Erika on Interdimensional Transmissions, Safety Scissors on BPitch Control and Moon Pool & Dead Band on Midwich Productions, and a remix EP on The Bunker New York marked his arrival as a resident of the Brooklyn party. He played Dekmantel Festival in 2018.
