Pender Street Steppers

Pender Street Steppers are Jack Jutson and Liam Butler, a duo from Vancouver and part of the Mood Hut collective, the label that bills its output as music from the soft water city. Their first statement was Life in the Zone, a 2013 mixed cassette of underground music from Pender Street, produced, mixed and mastered in the hut by the pair for Hit House and Mood Hut Studios. Records such as Bubble World and The Glass City / Golden Garden followed, with releases on Mood Hut and PPU. As DJs they played a back-to-back set with Beautiful Swimmers at Dekmantel Festival in 2016.
