Pev

Pev is Tom Ford, the Bristol DJ and producer behind Livity Sound. He moved to the city at eighteen and spent a decade at Rooted Records, the Gloucester Road shop at the centre of Bristol dubstep. In 2006 he started Punch Drunk, the label that gave Kahn, Hodge and others their first releases, and put out his debut album Jarvik Mindstate there in 2009. Roll With The Punches remains one of the city's signature tracks. In 2011 he founded Livity Sound with Kowton and Asusu; the label won Resident Advisor's Label of the Year in 2013 and runs the sister imprint Dnuos Ytivil. His album Tessellations and the Pulse series carry his blend of techno, jungle, dub and garage.
