Philip Berg

Philip Berg is a Frankfurt DJ with a wide-angle taste. From 2009 to 2014 he ran the monthly Tropic Rhonda parties around the city with Sergio Casariva, and he has since organised the Blind Bodies club nights and hosted the Tactile record store parties at Robert Johnson in Offenbach twice a year. His sets draw on labels such as L.I.E.S., Dark Entries, Industrial Records and Praxis, mixing older and newer material rather than committing to either. He has a particular love for Belgian new beat and slower tempos around 100 bpm, and the atmosphere that pace creates. He recorded a mix for the Digital Tsunami series and played Dekmantel Selectors in 2018.
