Phuong-Dan

Phuong-Dan is a Hamburg DJ who has been resident and host at the Golden Pudel Club for almost two decades. His Gatto Musculoso nights there, running since 2006, have hosted Beppe Loda, Daniel Wang, Vladimir Ivkovic, Lovefingers and Lena Willikens, and he is a regular guest at Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf. His sets are hypnotic, defiant expeditions that shift between musical fields, and they have taken him to Robert Johnson, De School and Berlin Atonal as well as art spaces such as Haus der Kunst and Kunsthalle Wien. He has supported Asmus Tietchens, Dieter Moebius and Jaki Liebezeit, and in 2021 founded dispari, a label and platform for auditory publications. He recorded RA.683 and the Dekmantel Podcast 080, and played Dekmantel Festival in 2017 and Lentekabinet in 2018.
