Pieter Jansen

Pieter Jansen is an Amsterdam DJ, radio host and label runner, and a fixture of the city's underground scene. He began by promoting parties and festivals before turning to DJing, and he has championed vinyl from the start. He is a regular at Draaimolen and a resident and programmer at the Breakfast Club in Amsterdam. He runs two imprints: yeyeh, an outlet for engaging music old and new, and ninih, its night-time counterpart for rhythmic, club-ready sounds. Between them they issue unreleased music by producers from the nineties and noughties alongside new artists. His sets favour darker, weirder records while staying on the dancefloor, reaching for electro, IDM, house, techno, ambient and minimal grooves. He played Lentekabinet Festival in 2023.
