Poly Chain

Poly Chain takes electronic music into the future. The Kyiv artist born Sasha Zakrevska uses IDM, electro and techno as building blocks for her own eerie, intense and atmospheric sound worlds, as cinematic as they are physical. Her melodies are edgy and inventive, her machine rhythms hugely distinctive. She has written solo albums, composed for theatre and museums, collaborated with Nene H and released charity albums for Ukraine as part of her ongoing musical resistance. Her live show, which she has performed at Dekmantel Festival, is an absorbing hour of beatless sound that moves you as much as any drum track, with storytelling chapters that run from darkened underworlds to starry cosmic expanses, from reflective and calming to intense and unsettling.
