Prins Thomas

Thomas Moen Hermansen, born in 1975, is the Oslo producer and DJ behind Full Pupp. He started out DJing as an extension of breakdancing, playing hip hop and electro, and returned to the booth in the early nineties with a weekly residency. In 2004 he teamed up with Hans-Peter Lindstrøm for the Further Into The Future EP, and their self-titled album on Eskimo in 2005 defined the sound labelled space disco, built from electro, krautrock, psychedelia and prog. Full Pupp became the home for Norwegian disco producers including Todd Terje and Blackbelt Andersen, while his Internasjonal label looks abroad. His solo albums run from Prins Thomas in 2010 through Principe Del Norte and the trance-leaning Træns. He holds a residency at Jaeger in Oslo.
