Rachel Grace Almeida

Rachel Grace Almeida is a Venezuelan writer based in London who has written about music for VICE and Crack Magazine. She hosts a monthly show on NTS that spends an hour in the expansive universe of Latin music, moving between reggaeton, salsa, merengue and joropo, dancehall and raptor house, with guests including Bclip and Valeriana. Her Venezuela Libre episode, built on electronica, joropo, raptor house and merengue, was picked out by the station, and other editions have stepped outside the brief altogether, including a Deftones special. That same range shapes her DJ sets.
