Rahaan

Rahaan is a Chicago house and disco DJ who started out in the eighties, playing house parties across the city from cassette tapes with a group of friends under the name Chuck Brothers. A move to Wisconsin in the nineties saw him build a deep collection of house and disco records, and after returning to Chicago in 1996 he made his name with residencies at The Spot and Buddha Lounge. Over three decades he has become one of the city's most respected selectors, and his own edits and productions have come out on Lumberjacks In Hell, Grimy Edits, Street Edits, Dopeness Galore and Fatty Fatty Phonographics. His tracks are made by a DJ for the floor, steeped in groove. He played Dekmantel Selectors in 2016.
