Raphaël Top-Secret
Raphaël Top-Secret cut his teeth in the early 2000s in small Parisian bars alongside Zaltan, who went on to run Antinote. A stint in Brussels meant dawn digging at the Place du Jeu de Balle flea market and a mentor in the Dutch DJ Loud-E, a protégé of I-F. Later he settled for a while in Tokyo after a gig at Contact, scouring its record shops daily. His edits have come out on Rush Hour, Dekmantel and Macadam Mambo, he has produced for Antinote and remixed for Versatile, and in 2018 he compiled Uneven Paths: Deviant Pop From Europe 1980 to 1991 for Music From Memory. His back-to-back with Jamie Tiller at Boiler Room x Dekmantel became a turning point, and he recorded RA podcast 632.
