Red Axes

Red Axes are Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, a Tel Aviv production and DJ duo who first played together in the new wave and post-punk band Red Cotton. After time living in Amsterdam, they returned home and started the psychedelic party series Break It, and in 2009 turned their focus to house, disco and techno. Early EPs such as Tour de Chile, 1970 and Ballad of the Ice, led to the album Sun My Sweet Sun on Permanent Vacation. Their Trips series for !K7 took them to Africa, Vietnam and India to record with local musicians, and further releases appeared on Dark Entries, Phantasy, Crosstown Rebels and fabric Records. Their sound mixes disco, house, garage rock, post-punk and psychedelia. They played Dekmantel Festival in 2017.
