Renata Do Valle

Renata Do Valle is a Brazilian-born DJ and label owner based in Brooklyn. She built her collection while DJing across New York and hunting Brazilian records around the city, and her sets join the sounds of her South American roots with those of her adopted home: samba, MPB, soul, disco, funk, jazz, Afrobeat, street soul, house and reggae. She runs the Hello Sailor label, which started with a series of curated 7-inch singles and released her own Edits in 2018. She has been a regular at The Lot Radio and at New York venues such as Le Bain, Black Flamingo, Elsewhere and Public Records, and has played for The Vinyl Factory's VF Live. She recorded a Dekmantel podcast and played Dekmantel Selectors in 2022.
